BFM® Fitting Spigots

BFM® Fitting Spigots

Stainless steel (304 or 316L options available) spigots eliminate the imprecise nature of hose-clamp sleeve type connections. By welding the spigots to your equipment, you can ensure a perfect fit for every BFM® fitting installation.

BFM® spigots come in stocked sizes ranging from 4” (100 mm) diameter to 26” (650 mm) diameter in two-inch increments, and in 304 or 316L stainless steel (2B finish). Electropolished stainless steel spigots are available as special order items, in the same diameter range. Special order diameters for spigots go up to 65″ (1650 mm).

All spigot diameters are measured at the base of the tail. The spigot design is slightly tapered. OD at the top of the tail is 5 mm or 13/64” greater than the base.

Features
  • The tail can be easily cut down or cut on an angle to suit your existing pipework (2” tails).
  • For additional safety, a TR (Tool Release) connector may be installed by drilling a 6 mm or 15/64” hole in the top ridge of the spigot head.

Note: For applications where there is a possibility for static build up (e.g., wood dust, flour, milk powder, etc.), we recommend using a static dissipative wire (strip) to connect the two BFM® spigots together.
